The ledge near the worms is for the Giants & Forgotten Door. Also, so long as you don't die/leave Black Gulch - destroying the statues will keep Lucatiel from getting poisoned. Resting at the bonfire only resets the enemies and not the statues. =) The Rotten is a boss found in the Black Gulch.He is a large mass of undead that wields a giant butchers knife in one hand, and uses the other to grab you. During the fight you will have to be Lucatiel missing in Black Gulch I could have sworn this was a location where they moved her but I can't find anything on it.
